About CalculHub

CalculHub is an independent, bilingual (French/English) project that builds fast, accurate, and accessible calculators for Canadian — and especially Quebec — taxes and financial questions.

It was created to fix a real gap: many existing French-language tools are outdated, hard to use, or simply missing, and Quebec's distinct systems (the taxe de bienvenue, RQAP, the Régime de rentes du Québec, and more) deserve tools built specifically for them.

Our commitment to accuracy

Accuracy is the whole point. For every calculator, we:

  • verify each rate, bracket, and rule against the official source (for example Revenu Québec, the Canada Revenue Agency, Retraite Québec, CMHC, or the municipality);
  • cite those sources on the page and show a "verified on" date; and
  • re-check figures when rates change (they are updated regularly).

Results are still estimates — see our Legal Disclaimer — but we work hard to make them correct and transparent, including showing the calculation step by step where we can.

Welcome-tax schedules last verified: July 30, 2026.

Independent — not a government site

CalculHub is a private, independent project operated from Quebec, Canada. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government, agency, or public body. For your official amount, always consult the relevant official source (which we link to on each tool).

Accessibility

We build to modern accessibility standards (WCAG 2.x AA) so the tools work well with keyboards and screen readers. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please let us know.
